CAMEO

The fourth annual CAMEO Music Awards Showcase was a truly beautiful event. We were honored to have Mr. James Atebe, the Mayor of Mission, BC, in attendance to present an award and also to deliver a brief but inspiring talk about the importance of community. The teamwork displayed by all involved in this show -- from the artists who gave such outstanding performances to the sponsors and volunteers whose contributions made it all possible -- was a great demonstration of community spirit in action. It gave me particular pleasure to present the initial President's Award to CAMEO Vice President and Youth Coordinator Doreen Anderson in recognition of her dedicated efforts over the past six years.
