Gary Edwards first became involved with CAMEO as an assistant stage manager at CAMEO Music Festival/ Retrofest 2005. Since that time, he has served as our main stage manager at three major CAMEO events. Gary worked very closely with President/Artistic Director Ron Hughes as an assistant producer of the 4th annual CAMEO Music Awards Showcase. In addition to his work as a stage manager, he contributed mightily in the areas of fundraising and promotion of the show. Gary Edwards is one of those rare people that every non-profit organization prays for, a volunteer who performs his duties with such dedication and professionalism that you wonder how you ever got along without him. In December 2006, Gary became a member of the CAMEO Board of Directors and every indication is that he will be one of the most valuable and productive directors that our organization has ever had.
