Doreen Anderson, co-founder of CAMEO, has been one of the dynamic, driving forces of our organization since well before our incorporation as a non profit society in August, 2001. Without her courage, energy and dedication, our organization would never have been able to survive and grow. Certainly, without her, CAMEO would be missing a great deal of its charm and grace. Her duties as Vice President and Youth Coordinator represent only a small portion of the responsibilities that she has assumed and so admirably fulfilled over the years. She has worn many hats at various times including those of Volunteer Coordinator and Front of House Manager and has rendered services to CAMEO above and beyond the call of duty for six years. Even after moving to Squamish, BC, some distance away from our main base of operations in the Fraser Valley, she continues to work as one of the principal leaders of CAMEO. Seldom has anyone in any organization been so deserving of any award as the one proudly given to her by the President of CAMEO at our Fourth Annual Music Awards Showcase.
